Après avoir annoncé notre expédition 2024 en Guinée (3X), nous apprenions que d’autres avaient prévu d’y aller juste avant nous (sans l’avoir annoncé). Nous avons donc annulé cette destination et travaillé très dur pour redémarrer de zéro un nouveau projet.
F6KOP peut désormais informer la communauté DX (et son propre radio-club !) que sa prochaine expédition se fera d’ici la fin d’année 2024 en SIERRA LEONE (9L). Ce pays DXCC avait déjà été activé par F6KOP en 2019 (9LY1JM) mais figure toutefois en 80ème position sur la liste des pays les plus recherchés.
14 opérateurs sont prévus et les modes « humains » (CW et SSB) auront une place importante dans le trafic. Plus d’infos ultérieurement…
After announcing our 2024 expedition to Guinea (3X), we learned that others had planned to go there just before us (without having announced it). So we canceled this destination and worked very hard to start a new project from scratch.
F6KOP can now inform the DX community that its next expedition will take place by the end of 2024 to SIERRA LEONE (9L). This DXCC entity had already been activated by F6KOP in 2019 (9LY1JM) but is however in 80th position on the most wanted list.
14 operators are planned and « human » modes (CW and SSB) will have an important place in traffic. More information to come… (F2DX, communication manager)
